Immunoblot test for the detection of IgG and IgM antibodies against Borrelia Burgdorferi in human serum or plasma.
| - RELIABLE : |
|
- Quality system certified ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
- Developed with specific recombining antigens of the 3 genospecies : B. burgdorferi sensu stricto, B. afzelii, B. garinii which allows the identification of the specific antibodies for the 3 spices.
- Optimization of the quantity of each antigens in particular for the antigens under-represented in the Western Blot system (example : p100, p 39, p18 and mainly OspC).
|
|
| - PRACTICAL : |
|
- Flexible system : 2 proposed protocols
>>>>>>> short : 2h of serum incubation
>>>>>>> long : overnight incubation of serum.
- Traceability : possible filing of the device.
- Internal control of the reaction.
- Results interpretation made with the calculation of a score compared with the reliable positive control.
- Long shelf life : 12 months.

LYMECHECK is a qualitative in-vitro test for the detection and safe identification of IgG or IgM anitbodies against Borrealia burgdorferi in human serum or plasma. LYMECHECK is used to confirm the results obtained from samples that have repeatedly proved positive in the screeing test. Unlike enzyme immunoassays or sport tests, this test permits the safe iddentification and localization of specific antibodies because the antigens are electrophoretically separated. Antibodies against particular antigens can provide further indication of the stage of the infection.
PERFORMANCES
>>> SENSIBILITY
>>> SPECIFICITY
A study carried out on 200 blood donors showed with the IgG-test a positive seroprevalence of up to 13.5ù and with the IgM-test up to 4.5% was found (see table).
These data of specificity is in conformity with those of the literature which describes a prevalence in IgG lower than 20% and in IgM lower than 5%.
