The QUICK ALL specific IgE / Total IgE is a lateral flow immunoassay designed for the qualitative determination of allergen specific (Total) IgE antibodies. The QUICK ALL consists of a universal test unit and different allergen solutions determining specificity of the test. The sample is pipetted in the sample application and immediately afterwards the respective allergen solution is added. On the one hand IgE antibodies of the patient sample bind specifically to the ligand labeled allergen and on the other hand to a monoclonal anti-hIgE antibody conjugated to gold particles. The gold particles overflow the test band (T), where a anti-ligand is coated. Only the immune complex of ligand labeled allergen, allergen specific IgE and IgE specific gold conjugate will bind to the anti-ligand; a red-blue test band will be visible. The conjugat specific antibodies, which are printed as a line on the membrane (control band, C), will catch the gold conjugate rest and develop a well visible line during the incubation time.
