SYPHILICHECK IgM CAPTURE is a highly sensitive and specific EIA for the confirmation of IgM antibodies to syphilis.
SYPHILICHECK IgM CAPTURE can be used for :
1. Detecting the primary antibody response during infection with T.pallidum.
2. Confirmation of active disease, by distinguishing between IgG and IgM without the need for fractionation of sera.
3. Confirmation of infection in neonates as IgM cannot cross the transplacental barrier by passive transfer.
